For Underarm
Before Your Visit
Help your skin show up ready. Here’s how to prep:
-
Please shave the area 12–24 hours before your appointment.
Clean, hair-free skin ensures better results and minimizes risk of irritation.
Avoid waxing, plucking, or threading — we need the hair root intact for the laser to work. -
Avoid direct sun, tanning beds, self-tanners, and outdoor activities that may tan or irritate the skin — for at least 2 weeks prior.
Tanned or sunburned skin is more sensitive and may not be eligible for treatment that day. -
Please avoid retinol, acids, exfoliants, and harsh treatments (like peels or microneedling) in the treatment area for 5–7 days before your session.
-
No makeup, lotion, perfume, or deodorant on the treatment area.
Clean skin is the perfect starting point. -
Let us know about any recent medications, tattoos, skin changes, or medical conditions ahead of time — we’ll adjust everything to keep you safe and comfy.
Aftercare
Your skin might be calm, warm, or slightly pink after your session.
Here’s how to protect and support it:
-
Avoid hot showers, steam rooms, saunas, workouts, and swimming (especially in pools or the ocean) for 24 hours post-treatment.
Let your skin breathe and settle — no heat, no chlorine, no salt, just calm. -
Give your skin 3–5 days of gentle care.
Skip exfoliants, retinol, and acids during this time. -
Apply a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer to help your skin feel calm and cared for.
Aloe vera or ceramide creams are great options. -
Use SPF 30+ daily — especially on exposed areas.
This protects your results and reduces risk of hyperpigmentation. -
Around 1–2 weeks after your session, treated hairs may shed — this is normal and expected.
No tweezing — just let it fall out naturally or shave if needed.
